Makin The Money

I use a site called swat cash and recently they added a game to there site that is a world attack type game each member gets a base and you can attack other members for points that can be transfered to the site currency to buy stuff. I love this game as I know I will be making a lot of money from it.

Right now I would have had enough to by two $100 pay pal payouts if I hadn’t spent some of it on more things for the map. So far I should be able to get one $100 pay pal payout. Oh and that doesn’t include the money I’ve gotten from the other stuff on the site. Swat Cash is a great way to make some extra money that could go toward advertising or that new ipod or bills. Mine will be going toward bills. Anyway this is just one more way I make money and now I can make even more from them. Check them out.

First of all my mother is home and is doing well. We still may be tight on cash so any help is appreciated. Hopefully she will be able to go back to work this school year. She’s a teacher so if she can’t work for 3 months she’s really off for 5.  She also get laid off in the summer so their is only half the income coming in. It sucks, but we will figure out something.

As for making money. I’m doing well this month considering everything going on. The test with my new ad’s is going okay. Apparently people don’t find the corner ads as fun as I do or something. I haven’t had many clicks on them, I don’t get paid per click, but it does look better if I have them. I’m sure a lot of that has to do with traffic and the US economy right now, people are not spending so they are not clicking on ads.  I will be keeping them up for a while to see how they do.

I’ve decided to add my top spots to 3 of my blogs. I’m going to add it to this one tomorrow. I’m going to be useing the money earned from them to help my mother who is now extreamly sick pay her bills. The price to be on this blog is only going to be $1, my personal blog everything and anything is also $1 and my diabetes blog is $3 that money is being split between my medical bills and my moms, thats why it’s more. The 2 other blogs allready have the top spot up and ready to go so if your interested in helping me out check out those sites.

Right now I have some personal issues going on so I will probably only be posting once or twice a week. I will try to keep up with my earning post and letting you know about new advertising programs.

Forums are a wonderful way to get the word out about your site, find a forum you have an interest in and add the link into your signature. If it’s a website that may be helpful to members of that forum eventually you may be able to post a link to it in an actual topic.

The big problem with not getting traffic from forums is when you come in, post your link and leave. If I found these on my forum, Blogger Love. I would probably delete it. Now if you came in a posted and talked then I would leave it up. I gave out ways for you to post your link anyway so there is no need to spam, but that is my forum. Others will delete and ban you if you don’t participate first.

I still believe that sometimes the best forums to join are newer ones, if you post and are somewhat active new member that join a few months after you will see you as someone who is trustworthy and may listen to your ideas more. That means they will visit your website and check it out.

I belong to 10 forums. I’m only active on 4 of them right now though and I have noticed a drop in my traffic from the others. Part of this is because I now have 5 blogs and my forum to work on. I also am a mod on another one so I just don’t have time. My goal right now is to post at least once a week on all of them.

I just joined AdToll yesterday and I have one ad on my design blog already. I love the page curl ads. They don’t get in the way and they look pretty dang good too. AdToll is the only site I have found that offers this type of ad so you don’t have to buy the script. Eventually I may buy the script, but if all goes well with this program I probably wont and I’ll just use the site to have ad’s like this.

If anyone reading this has used AdToll I would love to know what your experience with them has been?

I was asked in a comment the other day why I don’t talk about SEO much. I decided a post would be a better way to answer this question so here I go.

I don’t know a whole lot about SEO. That is your answer. I don’t want to give you advice that I don’t know will work. What I can tell you is if you have a blog on wordpress self hosted find some good SEO plugins that will help you to figure things out. Also keywords are important, don’t use the click Here type links to get people to your site, you want to use keywords. Many of you may know that already so that shows how bad I am at SEO.

Eventually I do hope to learn more and be able to share with you what works for me, until then I will stick to reviewing programs and ways to get traffic and anything else I can think of. I still think I’m not doing to bad at making money since I don’t know a whole lot about SEO. I keep thinking how much I could make if I did though. Maybe this summer if I have time between classes I’ll try to learn more.

They really need to do something with their system. If you have more then one account it now gets them confused. If you try to advertise it keeps telling you you don’t have enough credits because it get confused. I shouldn’t have to clear my cache every time I change users.

So that is my first and I hope only problem with entrecard. It’s frustrating when you only have a few minutes and you hop on to check for advertisers. You can’t do anything.
