Makin The Money

I’ve decided to add my top spots to 3 of my blogs. I’m going to add it to this one tomorrow. I’m going to be useing the money earned from them to help my mother who is now extreamly sick pay her bills. The price to be on this blog is only going to be $1, my personal blog everything and anything is also $1 and my diabetes blog is $3 that money is being split between my medical bills and my moms, thats why it’s more. The 2 other blogs allready have the top spot up and ready to go so if your interested in helping me out check out those sites.

Forums are a wonderful way to get the word out about your site, find a forum you have an interest in and add the link into your signature. If it’s a website that may be helpful to members of that forum eventually you may be able to post a link to it in an actual topic.

The big problem with not getting traffic from forums is when you come in, post your link and leave. If I found these on my forum, Blogger Love. I would probably delete it. Now if you came in a posted and talked then I would leave it up. I gave out ways for you to post your link anyway so there is no need to spam, but that is my forum. Others will delete and ban you if you don’t participate first.

I still believe that sometimes the best forums to join are newer ones, if you post and are somewhat active new member that join a few months after you will see you as someone who is trustworthy and may listen to your ideas more. That means they will visit your website and check it out.

I belong to 10 forums. I’m only active on 4 of them right now though and I have noticed a drop in my traffic from the others. Part of this is because I now have 5 blogs and my forum to work on. I also am a mod on another one so I just don’t have time. My goal right now is to post at least once a week on all of them.

One way that I make some extra income online is to use get paid to sites. I use this money to help pay bills and to help me get traffic to my blogs. It’s always a great idea to have your money coming from many different sources.

I know many people look at get paid to sites as scams, but personally I have made over $2000 with the two sites I am with and they are both fun to use. Swat Cash is my favorite as they are much more then a get paid to site, they give out $1000 every week on the forums to one lucky member. They also have just put in a new game that is very addictive and fun to play. The other site I use is Treasure Trooper. They also have a new game: Slots! who doesn’t love that. You do have to complete some offers to play it though but it’s still fun, of course I would never recommend something you have to pay for unless it’s really good, so sign up for both of these sites is free, just click the links.

Why do I love get paid to sites so much. Well because I can get paid to try things like netflix, blockbuster and even ebay. I can get paid to get tips for google and yahoo I also can spend nothing and still make a few bucks a month. Enough to pay for a new domain every month if I wanted to on my hosting plan.

Advertising for these sites is just as important as advertising for your blog I recommend Get Paid to forums like Cash buddy cafe to advertise on for both blogs and get paid to sites. If you have a money making blog like I do they are even better to advertise on. I mention Cash Buddy Cafe because I am a mod there and I know we allow referral links and all that fun stuff in our signatures. It’s also a paid to post forum so you can earn points for posting that you can redeem later for stuff.

My point is having different ways to make money is the best way to go, you don’t want to rely on just one way because that may eventually die out and then where will you be? Having something to fall back on is always a good idea.

Don’t you hate surfing though sites that have nothing to do with your own site? Do you hate having to click back and forth to drop cards on the people who dropped theirs at your site. Well now there is a great way to do that and more.

It’s a script designed by OBlife.com that will let you manual surf your entrecard droppers and you can also surf by category. All you need is your member number and your dropper RSS feed. I love using it, it’s very easy and I have had a ton of advertisers. The only problem I have right now is that I haven’t had time to do any advertising myself. I still have made a decent amount with them and I added them to another blog, bringing the total to 3 blogs. My design blog is not doing so well so if your looking for some cheep advertising head over there. Right now I believe it’s free!

I like how you can give away a spot if there is one. I would rather have the ads full and not make much then have them sitting there looking weird. Of course I know I could put my own ads in and I might if there still is not an interest in the one blog.

A few weeks ago I decided to use a pay to read email service called Bang the links. I am very happy with the results of my efforts as my traffic has gone up and I have a lot of readers coming back to read more. I will probably do some more advertising with this site. I know the owner from a forum I’m on so I trust the site.

This is a great way for a new blog or website to get out there and get noticed. Try it on your site and see what it can do for you.

I only have 60 more cents before I reach my first payout from
Bidvertiser. Yes i know it’s only $10 but that is gas money or food money so I’m very excited about it. It’s also nice because once I get that I can say they have paid me and they are a good service. I love doing that. I love sharing what I know works and what I have found does not. Of course I will be posting that I was paid by them when it happens.

Once I got everything figured out and was actually selling ad’s for my site I am very happy with the results. I’ve made just over 50 cents. My goals right now are not too high as this is a new blog that is just starting to gain speed.

This blog is doing much better with ads then my design blog. I’m sure it’s because of the topic of this blog. I decided to try this first on two of my specialized ones. I may be adding it to my general blog Anything and Everything soon.
