Get paid for your non paid links

Posted by Holly On May - 11 - 2008

I’m trying out a new program called Linkbucks. I just signed up today so we will see how it works, for now I have only changed one link. I’ll be working on more soon. I’m sure you wondering what I am talking about so here is how the program works.

You sign up and find links to other websites that you already have on your blog or website. You can also link to your own site. The link itself doesn’t really matter. You take that URL and you put it into their system. They then give you a new link that will either take you to a landing page where an add is displayed for a few seconds or you can choose to have a banner at the top of the page the person is going to. I thought my blog Savey Spender would be a good one to try the banner out on.

You get paid so much for so many clicks. Really I think it could be a great program as there are many links I know people click on that I don’t get paid anything for but wish I could. The thing you have to remember is that this is only for non-paid links. Not for links you are being paid for.

Check it out yourself and see if you like it.

A slow down

Posted by Holly On March - 27 - 2008

My money making has been slow this month. Some if it is my own personal issues getting in the way and I believe some of it has to do with the US recession and people not spending money on things anymore. Therefor they don’t click on ads for products.

Hopefully it will pick up soon. I am trying a few new advertising ideas and I will be getting back to you on those shortly. I may be taking the corner ad off of this site as it has had no advertisers and I haven’t made anything off of it. I think it would do better on a site that has more traffic.

Like my new way to advertise here?

Posted by Holly On March - 5 - 2008

I just joined AdToll yesterday and I have one ad on my design blog already. I love the page curl ads. They don’t get in the way and they look pretty dang good too. AdToll is the only site I have found that offers this type of ad so you don’t have to buy the script. Eventually I may buy the script, but if all goes well with this program I probably wont and I’ll just use the site to have ad’s like this.

If anyone reading this has used AdToll I would love to know what your experience with them has been?

Something new

Posted by Holly On February - 24 - 2008

I am trying something new. I have started a shopping site for shopping codes, it’s still a work in progress so I won’t be linking to it just yet, but I’m wondering if anyone has done this type of thing. I’m just trying to see if it actually works for my affiliate programs or if it’s just another dead end.

I’m excited about it though. I’m hoping to have some good results even if it’s just a bunch of visitors. I am going to leave it up for about 6 months and I’ll keep you updated as to how I do.
